Owen at eight months

Owen reached the eight month mark on Sunday. No longer content to sit and snuggle, this baby is on the move. I sat him on the landing of the staircase to shoot a few photos of his new tricks, and it didn’t take long for him to express an interested in climbing down the stairs.

In addition to that supercute clapping below, Owen’s bobbing his head to music, doing a bit of “singing” of his own, sleeping soundly for at least 11 hours each night, and keep us pretty entertained the rest of the time.

See this off-camera gaze? All of his attention is focused on his sisters, who do their best to keep Owen happy and smiling. As it turns out, he might the one who is smitten now.

I love this little guy so much. I feel very fortunate to be his mama!

He is so totally adorable!!! And, what a very nice thing that he sleeps for 11 hours!!! And, he is very fortunate to have two sisters to keep him entertained – you are a very lucky Mama!

Isn’t that the truth, Karyl? The other day, Owen was fussing in his little bouncer while I made dinner. Ava came over, picked him up, said, “Oh, you’re a little wet, let’s go and change you,” THEN WENT AND CHANGED HIS DIAPER. I am VERY fortunate.

Josh just said, “How’s he so big?! He’s like half a Bryan.”
