Owen fix

This photo of Owen shows off his two tiny teeth–no sign of others just yet. If he were down with my whole plan of self-feeding, I think they’d serve him well. However, he refuses to believe Cheerios are actually food, he’s quite happy with a puree of whatever vegetable we’re having for dinner.

After my gallbladder surgery, the only thing I was hungry for was Cheerios. I have no idea why. It was then that I realized there are at least a dozen different varieties of Cheerios. I don’t suppose you’re allowed to try Apple Cinnamon or Chocolate Cheerios yet, because they will make anyone a believer!

I ate boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios while pregnant with Ava. I often had them for breakfast, lunch and dinner–on the same day.

It should be noted here that your Grandma Dankleff once bought a vacuum based soley on the fact that it was adept at picking up Cheerios! The two of you and Cheerios go way back!

I can see myself giving a geography lesson using Cheerios. When multi-grain cheerios came out, that’s all I wanted for breakfast. You can add more flavors but you can’t top the original. Wow, do I feel young. Apparently the original is not Honey Nut Cheerios. Having them in the house after Katie’s surgery reminded me how much I missed Cheerios. Need to pick up Cheerios on the way home!

A bit more dangerous now to have your finger near his mouth. So cute!
