The lack of snow in recent years is disappointing, especially for these Wisconsin transplants. I’m not saying I need to have five and a half months of winter, but a dusting here and there—and maybe even a couple of storms to accomodate sledding—would be much appreciated.
In the meantime, I’m taking matters into my own hands: I made a batch of homemade play snow–er, play dough–for the girls. I followed this recipe, then added wintery peppermint extract and silver glitter.
