A family affair

We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary today by taking the kids out to our favorite restaurant. We are looking forward to doing it again, perhaps for our 26th. We’ve had an great year—maybe one of the best, which I suppose is a good way to go about this marriage thing. I am quite fortunate to be wedded to such an incredible guy!

So cute! I meant to ask if there was an anniversary poem this morning. Hope you had a great day!

Yes there was, and here are my favorite excerpts:

    Happy 13th anniversary; we’re having a son!
Hard to believe, since now he is in the oven, a bun.
In the meantime, beat the heat and stay out of the sun.
Be sure to rest, maybe walk but definitely don’t run.
    Soon we’ll have a bundle of joy–happiness a ton.
We’ll have three children, while those in the convent have nun.

That’s the front of the card I made for Bryan.

  6. I love the chart! Congratulations on your anniversary, and good luck the next few weeks with your boy!

I love the card…especially “I still do.” Happy Anniversary!

You could market that card – on Etsy?? An idea for a future small press in Omaha . . .

  10. Rebecca, I showed this to a coworker and she is doing one for her anniversary, and one for her kids and her mother. She loved it so much!
