Spending Sunday on the Brooklyn Side

We took the girls bowling for the first time this afternoon. Thanks to gutter bumpers and a ball guide, they nearly out bowled me.

Today is “Crazy Sock Day” at school in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Bryan (who woke us up by blaring Rebecca Black’s “Friday”) made the girls green eggs to celebrate.

Coconut-Mango Muffins

Made these (relatively) low-sugar muffins for a playdate last Saturday, and happily, there were a few left over for breakfast early this week. I used frozen mangoes (a smoothie staple in our house), and coarsely-shaved sweetened coconut.
