In bloom

The peony behind our house is in full bloom, and it could not be more gorgeous. Whenever I see peonies, I’m reminded of those that grew behind Great Grandma Stolz’s house in Elmwood.

Well – your spring is definitely ahead of ours! Gorgeous. Peonies are so extravagantly lush that we almost take them for granted, maybe because they are so numerous and exceedingly robust.

Very cool that you had deer in your yard. I bet the girls were thrilled by that!

Our tree peonies are blooming, and they are gorgeous this year. I love peonies – and am planting yet more this year. The deer and the rabbits don’t like them – an added bonus! We are slaving away at the yard, and are making progress. Doug did some tilling today, so I hope to get all the garden stuff planted this week – and the deck pots planted as well. It is finally warm today, and not a lot of wind, for a change!

  3. Gorgeous photos Bec!
