The morning after

No official word on snowfall totals, but maybe somewhere between eight and 10 inches? The wind has died down, but it is COLD. Our neighbor has been out with his snowblower since very early this morning. I hope he doesn’t have any trouble thawing out.

According to weather spotters here, we got between 12 and 15 inches, and it’s of course much higher in places because of the severe winds and drifting. And our circumstances are not helping–we all came down with sore throats last night, and Josh has really bad kidney stone pain today. We’re trying to dig ourselves out, but it’s slow going. So much for a fun snow day!

Looks like pictures of Laura’s place last year! Laura, what snow day is fun? Banish all snow! Who’s with me??

It didn’t snow a lot here but it’s so cold and miserable. I only got about 5 inches here, but it drifted a few feet in many places. Yuck!
