As I was saying something about how sweet the girls were, Bryan reminded me that he took these photos VERY early in the morning.

So that’s why there were footprints on the window.

It’s hard to appreciate just how “mini” these cupcakes really are…

I wish I could claim credit for them, but they came from “Cutie’s” kitchen, with a bit of assistance from Ava, of course.

You know my plan to instill in my children a fear of horses, to ensure I don’t have to buy one someday?

It’s failing.

Gone fishin’

We spent a bit of time at the fishing hole on the farmstead last weekend. I’m not sure what Ava was expecting to find in her rented bucket, but I don’t think it was worms.

Once Bry rigged up the poles, we waited…and waited….and waited.

And waited.

I can’t say we had much luck, but it was hard to beat the weather and the view!
