Olivia Ann turns five

Olivia visited the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to celebrate her fifth birthday–as her “fairy godmother in training” noted, “she’s a whole handful now.” Indeed.

Disney!

We ventured to Florida to celebrate Olivia’s fifth birthday in  Disney World. We arrived last Sunday, just in time for a parade that included Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty.

Sunday morning snuggles

Overheard

From the back of the Man Van:

Ava: “MOM! OLIVIA JUST BACK SASSED ME!”

Olivia: “I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!”

Overheard

Ava, to her mother: “I think you have come down with a flu of sarcasm.”

A&O Fix

Overhead

Ava: “Olivia, did you get my rainboots?”

Liv: “No…”

Ava: “I asked you four times! Wow, now I’m living in Mom’s world.”

Liv: “What?”

Ava: “Nevermind. You will understand when you’re older.”

Vote early and vote often

Olivia was disappointed; she thought we said we were going “boating.”

Overheard: All broken up

Ava: “Mom, is it true a high voice can break glass?”

Bec: “Yes.”

Ava, immediately excited: “Do you have a glass I can break?!”

Liv: “See my ‘O’ shaped rock, Mama?”

Ava: “That’s not a rock. It’s a Crinoid fossil….oops…”

Liv: “WHAT HAPPENED?”

Bec: “Well, now you have two ‘U’ shaped rocks…”

Liv, wailing: “AVA BROKE MY ROCK!!”

Bry: “That’s okay. It will only take 300 million years to make another one.”
