Reminds me of a Thursday evening several years ago when I was buying a large quantity of alcohol at Osco Drug, near our home in Lincoln. The clerk asked if we were having a party this weekend. I replied, “No, just going to the cabin.”
Katie, who was still at UNL and tagging along, said, “Gee, Mom. At least you could have told them you were having a party. . . “
