Santa found Ava and Olivia this year, despite Ava’s concerns that our house is lacking a chimney, a critical element for someone who has watched the Grinch 87 times since Thanksgiving. Nevertheless, Santa worked his magic and left behind a couple of bicycles for these relatively good little girls.

The girls look so cute sitting on the top step, waiting to come down. I love Ava’s expression in the third photo – what was that exactly? Tell Ava we got her thank you note today – we will treasure that!

They are cupcake mixes for the cupcake maker she received last year. By the way, other thank you notes are on the way (I think that one excluded Doug, and that’s because he’s getting his own, just as soon as mom gets them in the mail…) She’s working her way through a long list, making the most of her new postal supplies!
