And, we’re back!

After a dismal showing last week, I was determined to return with a post a day this week. I thought I’d have tons of blog fodder thanks to the long holiday weekend spent at the lake with Mom and Dave. However, I forgot the camera. Hopefully, though, you’ll think bad photos taken with my phone are better than no photos at all…

Without further ado, here are a few shots from the weekend. Bryan and Dave hit the water early Saturday morning, and the girls were quite curious as to the contents of the livewell once they returned.

I think we were all a bit surprised to find it held a huge catfish, caught by the guy appropriately dressed in the “Fisher” t-shirt.

Liv needed a closer look…but not too close!

Even after some time in the livewell, the fish still weighed in at 7.9 pounds.

Believe it or not, this was just the start to Bryan’s luck on the lake this weekend. More to come soon. (Seriously this time!)

Well, hello there!

I am surprised to see you still coming to this obviously abandoned blog.

Many apologies for the lack of posts—it’s been a crazy week. But, I am going to see if I can stretch your patience by asking you to wait just another few days…say, Tuesday. Does Tuesday work for you?

Okay, then, good. I’ll see you Tuesday.

I’ll bring the photos of the kids. Why don’t you bring a dessert to share. It will be great!
