Finally, sleet gave way to snow tonight. We will likely see just a few inches, but I am hoping for more. Maybe not quite as much as the foot predicted for our friends in Madison, but still, just a bit more.

Shot No. 1 should be entered in a photo contest, Rebecca. Wow!

The screensaver-type floating snowflakes on the blog page are a nice touch — but it kinda reminds me of Ava telling Grampa Great, “. . .Papa has had his fill of it!” (while trying to convince someone new to watch the Arthur movie with her a couple of Christmases ago).
(To see these, you need to let the page “rest” for a few moments. At first, I thought I was seeing things. Or that I had seen so many snowflakes in the past 48 hours that I was imagining them everywhere!)

Thank goodness! I thought maybe I was the only one seeing those spots!

Katie actually called me and said, “It’s snowing on your blog.” I haven’t heard from her in nearly a week, but whatever works.
By the way, we got two inches of snow last night, and the low today is around 7 degrees. People are up in arms that I haven’t canceled our event tonight due to “weather conditions.” Crazy!
