My whole family joined me on campus this weekend for Family Day. This year, we rented a cotton candy machine for our open house. I think it’s amazing that you can spin sugar into something so ethereal and gorgeous with so little effort.
It was quite popular among kids of all ages—especially the under five set.

I love cotton candy! And I learned last night at a baseball game that it has far fewer calories than you might think…in case anyone needed an excuse.

Like how many calories? I’ve been getting it at movies as opposed to popcorn….which I assumed was a huge mistake. Maybe it was really brilliant!

Hey, Jess! I confirmed calories at a fair yesterday. A standard-size bag of cotton candy is 57 calories. Sweet! Sure, there’s no other nutritional value whatsoever, but it does satisfy a sweet tooth!
