Bryan have had an ongoing argument–for YEARS–about where one should put dirty clothes. I think they go in the hamper, or should you be so inclined, you may sort them into one of our four baskets in the laundry room.
Bryan firmly believes they belong in a giant pile next to the shower. He will not be convinced otherwise.

After our 1,416th discussion on the matter, Bryan marched out of the bathroom and returned a second later with the hamper.
So far, his new system is working about as well as you might expect.

OK – I hate to admit this Rebecca, but I am a slob. I have dirty clothes in the bathroom, sometimes for days at a time. Doug is totally neat – he takes his dirty clothes to the laundry room – and he takes mine, too. Sorry – must be totally my fault!

I don’t claim to be neat–but I restrict my mess to my closet!

We have small piles of dirty laundry in various places throughout the house, specifically the bathroom, on the stairs, and by Colin’s high chair (bibs). Once a day (or before people come over) I go and pick them up and put them in the laundry baskets in the closet. It’s a workable system, but we do have a very small house right now. I also have a high tolerance for mess 🙂 Moving the hamper was a good idea, good luck!

I think doing the laundry might just be a little more work than getting the dirty clothes to the laundry room!
