Backyard business

We had a few new (or at least rare) visitors to the backyard birdfeeders this week.

Over the weekend, Bryan spotted a White Throated Sparrow and a Brown Headed Cowbird. Yesterday, we saw a Song Sparrow. We also have a number of Mourning Doves–far more than the single pair that usually hangs out under the pear tree.

It must be Josh’s suet!

Birds love that suet. Am I too visionary in seeing Uncle Josh’s Suet on Walmart shelves this fall?
