Welcome, Linden!
My friend Liana welcomed a baby boy over the weekend. You can see photos over at Coca’s blog. In the meantime, I’m trying to convince myself not to drive north just yet…

Backyard business
We had a few new (or at least rare) visitors to the backyard birdfeeders this week.
Over the weekend, Bryan spotted a White Throated Sparrow and a Brown Headed Cowbird. Yesterday, we saw a Song Sparrow. We also have a number of Mourning Doves–far more than the single pair that usually hangs out under the pear tree.
It must be Josh’s suet!
