Hey! She was climbing onto the seat and vigorously rocking the chair! Bryan — at least in his first six months as a parent — would have done the same thing. Perhaps I’ll mellow out some day.
I’m just grateful someone is on guard! By the time the second one rolls around, you’re a bit more relaxed. By the fourth, we’ll say, sure, play in the street, just watch out for cars, okay?
Some families only wait until the third child… I definitely remember playing some Pac-Man themed game using the tar lines made when the city filled the cracks in the asphalt.
