I dropped it. On concrete. After failing to apply the protective screen cover Bry purchased for me four weeks ago.
I can’t believe it. It still works, amazingly. Apple is sending me a loaner today, promising my repaired phone will be back in less than five days. All this is, of course, costing more than the original phone itself.
Oh Rebecca…. that is a very sad sight to see. But humorous to imagine the look on your face as it happened since I know how important it is for you to be connected.
Did Bryan say anything like, “You should have put that protective cover on that I got you, but I certainly understand that you’re busy and things like that get overlooked.” ?

Sigh.

I bet the look on Bryan’s face when he saw it was amusing, too.

Bec has a new protective cover for her phone: a plastic zip-loc snack bag. (Gramma Great’s idea.)
She looks very sophisticated and professional now when she carries/uses the phone.

Not exactly, Doug. And thanks, Mom.
