I know, it’s Thursday (night), but I still have some photos to post from last weekend. After my cherry pie failure, I attempted to redeem myself with this recipe for berry cobbler. I used blackberries rather than a mixture of fruit, and I think it turned out pretty well. Bryan was disappointed we left it behind with our friends, and that’s usually a good sign.
On Sunday, Ava and I stirred up the cookie of the month from Martha Stewart Living. It’s a no-bake recipe, which makes it kind of fun (and very yummy).

I love cobbler – but I never make it because I end up eating the whole thing. Wish I was there to sample everything!

Beauteous! I’m glad you test-ran that no-bake recipe because I am planning to try it myself. They look great!

Sorry! That was me. I’m on Josh’s computer temporarily because I spilled chicken stock on my keyboard in the kitchen the other night and my keyboard is now malfunctioning. This is karma, I believe, because for the first year I had my laptop, I very firmly enforced a no-liquid policy on Josh and anyone else using my computer, and here I’m the one to blame!

You’re supposed to put a laptop that has moisture spilled on it in an enclosed container of rice grains.
