Ava’s friend Brandon invited us over to play in their pool this weekend. It was a great escape on a 95 degree day.
Even Olivia got in on the action. She happily paddled around the pool on her back.

That pool looks quite big! Olivia looks so funny – she seem to have that same look on her face as when she tries a new food for the first time! Where’s Brandon – did Ava chase him out of the pool?

What a fun time! Olivia’s life jacket is neat, where did you get it? We’re having difficulty getting Colin interested in the pool. Olivia seems quite content, however 🙂

Nicky, my mom gave it to Ava when she was a baby–I bet they got it at Target or Wal-Mart. Mom?

The life vest Olivia is wearing came from BassPro Shops in 2005. We bought another one like it at Scheel’s Lincoln store a little bit later. I’m not finding anything like this one online . . . anywhere. Isn’t it a Stearns brand?
The new Stearns “Heads Up” infant vest has a strap that goes between the legs and two straps around the middle. The one you have is worn more like a body suit than a vest and straps at the shoulder and at the side, right? I can’t remember what the back of it looks like.
Olivia looks like she is really enjoying the pool! Both girls were born water babies!
