In the interest of full disclosure, it probably sounds more like “ma ma ma ma” to the undiscerning ear. And, yes, this is her first “word,” if you discount the above.
You know, I was just thinking that after I posted. We were right here, playing in the living room. She was about the same age, too! Amazing granddaughters!

I am determined to teach her to say “Katie” next. I have great confidence as it appears she is very advanced.

I think Olivia was misunderstood. Are you sure it wasn’t “Gramma Gramma, Gramma?” I worked awfully hard on that last weekend. . .
