My mom just emailed me–not to see how we were faring, but to express her discontent with the lack of photos of Ava and Olivia. So, since I can’t snap shots of the passing storm, here are a couple of the girls.
Would anyone like to guess how many times Bryan has said, “Ava, turn off that flashlight! Conserve the batteries!”

It’s not that I wasn’t concerned, it’s just that I’m really, really tired of severe weather maps. We’ve been weather watching for more days than I would like to count and they’re talking storms again tomorrow night! Glad you got a weather radio. Ours is going to wear out soon, it’s been going off so often!
