This map is from an interesting weather blog at a Kansas City NBC affiliate. It still sounds like we’re in for some serious storms, and it will be fascinating to see how they develop.
It’s not quite 90 degrees yet today, but it’s very overcast and extremely humid. It’s also windy, but the wind seems to blow 20 miles an hour here no matter the weather.
There’s part of me that wishes I was headed a bit south and west to watch!

It’s 3:15 p.m. in Todd County Minnesota and a light rain falling. Thunder booming all around us. It’s only 65 degrees, so that’s better than your 90 degrees. Some wind, but that isn’t an issue yet! It’s from the northwest, so hard to tell exactly how hard it is blowing because we are so protected when it comes from that direction. Getting darker by the minute–you would think it was 7-8:00 p.m. We’ll be thinking of you–stay safe!!!!!
