It’s beginning to look a lot like…

I came across this frosty scenery yesterday morning–likely the result of freezing fog, just burning off with the sun.

Wow, that is beautiful! Loved the video of Ava on the sled! What a wonderland!

What happened with the sled? Did she crash?

She did–right into the bushes down below. I don’t think they thought she’d go that far!

The crash-site was huge overgrown junipers that were covered with snow. She rolled off the sled and jumped up and turned around accusingly, with her hands on her hips, Ava-style. I’m sure the neighbors will wonder who made all of the sled runs and little footprints in the yards of their cabins. . . our yard was tilled and reseeded this fall and is a muddy mess, so we borrowed snow space!

When Grampa headed Ava and her sled down the mowed path from the edge of our yard to the lake, he hollered at her to jump off if she got close to the water (which, in reality, is totally frozen and 100 yards away). She immediately ‘bailed’ at that suggestion. She is so funny!
